On the LG env3 there are two hidden service menus
One for Verizon Techs and the other for LG tech
We'll start with the Verizon tech one
To access this hidden service menu you type ##77647269200 which actually translates into ##program9200 . After typing in this number and hitting Send you are prompted with a "service code" input box. The code happens to be 000000 (go Verizon *eye roll* )
From this menu you can do many thing EG. programming the phones number, change the security code from all 000000's, changing the NAM, and even getting into the deeper settings like the battery thermistor settings. Of course there more but I'm a lazy bastard so I'm not going to list them all
Of course I don't know what messing with those setting will do seeing as I'm not too stupid to try and change shit around
The second menu is less likely to damage your phone and this is the LG service menu
To acess this menu just type ##5473784236368 which translates into ##lgservicemenu
you get a security code box after hitting enter. the code is the same as the one for the Verizon menu
From here you can change the theme of your phone (if you have the blue you can give it the red theme, and vice versa), disable your MP3 player until you restart your phone, run battery test, mess with some FCC settings, change blue tooth settings, and much more
The only settings I have truly messed with are some test ones and the theme one
I do not advocate messing with your phones internal settings and digging into them can cause your phone to break
test at your own expense. I'm not going to be responsible for your phone breaking
but then again, this guide is for pure knowledge, right?![]()
